Privacy, in plain language

Your mailbox, messages, attachments, hashes, and reports stay on your computer. Mail Attachment Archive has no user account, telemetry, advertising, or analytics SDK.

Local archive data

The desktop app reads files you explicitly choose and writes an archive to a folder you explicitly choose. It does not upload mail data. Optional encryption derives a key from your passphrase on-device; the passphrase is not stored. Deleting the archive folder deletes that local archive.

License verification

If you buy or restore Archive Plus, the app or website sends only your license token to Sociobot’s billing API at most once per day. The result is cached locally. Sociobot/Dodo, the merchant of record, processes purchase and refund information under its own legal obligations. Mail data is never part of this request.

Website

The landing page does not set tracking cookies or load third-party scripts, fonts, pixels, or analytics. The hosting provider may retain standard security logs such as IP address and request time.

Your choices

You can use the entire archive engine without a license or network connection. Remove a saved web license by clearing site storage. Remove desktop data by deleting the archive folder.
